We have heard of divorces between a husband and wife. But debutante director M.J. Ramanan is making a film on a young boy seeking divorce from his parents.
Titled ‘Divorce’, the film will star Jackie Shroff as a lawyer while Mandira Bedi and Sonu Sood will play the parents of a young child (to be played by child artist Master Parth).
Talking about the movie’s unusual theme, Ramanan says he got the inspiration to make the film after a report in a U.S. newspaper about a young boy seeking divorce from his parents since they neglected him.
‘Divorce’ will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule, from February 9 to March 12.
