HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | HOLLYWOOD Indians would love Zohan: Adam Sandler19th Sept 2008 19.30 IST By Agencies Hollywood actor Adam Sandler says his latest movie 'You Don't Mess With Zohan' will appeal to Indians who have a penchant for music and romance. In the film, released in India today, Sandler plays Zohan Dvir, an Israeli Mossad agent, who instead of catching terrorists dreams of becoming a hairstylist. 
"I have heard that East watches films with loads of music and romanticised concepts. I expect Indians will watch my film as it has very good music and a perfect comedy," Adam Sandler is quoted by a news agency. The film by Sony Pictures deals with the relationship between Israel and Palestine in a comic way but the actor who has written the script for the film says he had to walk a tight rope to work on the story. "There was some little pressure when we started working on the film. We had never thought we would pick up a sensitive issue and deal it up in such a comic way. But, we were aware that it was not just another comedy," says Sandler. "Though we did not take out anything from the film but it was a slow process because one minor mistake would have been controversial," says Sandler who is not only the brain behind the main character but has written the script along with writers Robert Smigel and Judd Apatow. He is also one of the producers. Though the film has been banned in some Arab countries, the actor says he is not disappointed.
