Dil Kya Kare’s music album has been released. Some songs are good but the music directors Jatin and Lalit have yet to learn the basic lessons. They are popular music directors, but it is difficult to understand why they keep repeating the same tunes.
The title song Dil Kya Kare is pleasing. It’s sweet and the singers Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik are at their best. Do Dilon Ki is also a good song with a fresh tune. In this song, Anuradha Paudwal pairs with Udit Narayan.
The Punjabi number in this album is above average. But the children’s numbers in this album are disappointing. Badal Bijli (Abhijeet and Children) and Monday Bhi Ho Sunday (Abhijeet, Kavita, and Children) fail to make much of an impression. Kavita’s potential could have been used in a much better way.
The album ends with its best and sweetest song. Alka Yagnik is simply superb in the sweet and simple Pyar Ke Liye. This pleasant song has some terrific Anand Bakshi lyrics.
This album is for the type of person that loves listening to mushy-mushy love songs shown in numerous filmi countdowns and promotions.
