Box Office Reports of “Street Dancer 3D” and “Panga”
The Release Day (24th January 2020) Collections
Varun Dhawan’s and Shraddha Kapoor’s Street Dancer 3D cross 9.50 crores today at the box office while on the other hand, Kangana Ranaut’s Panga managed to pass 2 crores according to the reports. Panga is a sports drama and Street Dancer is a dance drama, which we all can understand by the name.
The fans like both of these movies and social media are currently flooded with appreciation posts. Not only that but also the film fraternity is quite happy about the reactions. But, here is a plot twist. Critics are praising Panga more than Street Dancer 3D. However, both are of different genre.
Collections at the box office are commendable as of now for Street Dancer 3D. But, according to the reports and records, movies with dance themes have fetched more business compared to this one in the past. Moreover, Street Dancer 3D has done well in Mumbai and Tamil. Panga has released over 1500 screens but could not make the expected market. The reason is due to its reach. Tanhaji and Street Dancer 3D seems to have taken away the business due to the popularity and theme.
There are more significant numbers coming for Panga on the weekends. It is expected to fetch double business of its first day collections. But, the question is, will it be enough as compared to the other releases of Kangana Ranaut? Let’s see what the future has in store for Panga.
What are the movies about?
Panga: No matter what is the profit range or the box office collection is, the fact which should not be ignored is that, Panga is a movie by Ashiny Tiwari Iyer, which is about a house-wife who was a Kabaddi champion and how she gets back to live for her passion and dreams.
Street Dancer 3D: It is a movie based on dance. It is a treat for all the dancers out there, by Remo D’Souza. Both have different stories and different background, which are beyond comparison.
